You Are the Economy is perfect for Canadian teachers looking for ways to introduce economic and financial literacy in Grades 7 to 12 (Secondary I-V). The lessons are designed to support multiple subject areas—from social science and geography to business and economics.
In this webinar, we will provide an overview of each of the lesson plans and explore the creative materials in each lesson, such as comic strips, card games, data visualization tools and infographics. You’ll also try out some of the activities for yourself and learn how to navigate the entire resource, including worksheets, quizzes and answer keys.
The virtual presentation will be hosted over Microsoft Teams and will run for 45 minutes (30 minute presentation and 15 minute Q&A period).
Webinars are held in both official languages:
- French on November 5, 2024, at 5 p.m. ET
- English on November 6, 2024, at 5 p.m. ET
